BABYBLUE.ZIP - A collection of pointers for OS/2 Warp
These "Blue" mouse pointers were originally converted from NT by
Martin H. Speiser from Germany (100013.1276@compuserve.com). I
have included his original README text (with an English translation)
at the end of this document.
I have made some minor improvements to Martin's original work,
in the shading, sizing, and "hot spots". In addition, the "illegal"
pointer has been changed to a red symbol (from the standard black).
Installation (for OS/2 Warp):
The pointer set is purposely contained within a subdirectory (called
BabyBLUE) within the ZIP file. The easiest way to install them is to
*drag* the BabyBLUE folder, and drop it inside \OS2\POINTERS - of
course, you could just unzip BABYBLUE.ZIP inside \OS2\POINTERS,
but if you are reading this text, you must have already unzipped the
file, so the folder should be sitting there waiting to be dragged. :-)
Then, open the OS/2 SETTINGS folder (click with the right mouse
button on an empty spot on the desktop, then click on System Setup).
Open the MOUSE object, and click on the POINTERS tab. Click on
"Load Set", select the BabyBLUE set, then click on LOAD - that's it!
These pointers are released as freeware for unlimited use. I've also
included two icon files, suitable for animating any pointer folder.

Here is Martin's original README text:
Here is what Martin said, translated to English:
Do you like black mouse pointers? I think they're awful. The white
ones aren't so pretty, either. Here is a group that I liked from
Windows NT 3.5 - no, not the running dinosaurs, or the drumming
fingers, but the blue ones. Just create a new directory (called BLUE)
in the \OS2\POINTERS directory, and copy these eleven pointers
into it, open the Mouse settings in the System Setup folder,
and load the new set on the Pointers page.
Have fun! Martin (100013.1276@compuserve.com)
By the way, when will OS/2 get animated pointers? The most important
feature since the price for 1 MB dropped below 100 Marks ($60). :-)
That last comment is *Martin's* idea, not mine! ;-)
