  1. The following list contains the filenames of fixes for PC DOS 7.0.  
  2. The files will need to be placed in the \DOS directory, replacing
  3. the existing file located in that directory.

  12.         Fixes the bitwise AND (&) and Bitwise OR (:) functions
  13.         that give incorrect results.

  19.         DISKCOMP A: A: gives and erroneous message about the diskette 
  20.                         being defective.
  21.         diskcomp A: A: with a compressed floppy, you get the message:
  22.                         Insert FIRST Diskette in Drive E:
  23.                         Press any key to continue. . .
  24.                         FIRST diskette bad or incompatible
  25.                         Compare process ended.
  26.                         Compare another diskette (Y/N) ?

  28.         DISKCOMP B: B: gives a message about the diskette being 
  29.                         compressed when it is not.
  30.  
  31.         diskcomp B: B: with B not compressed gives the error
  32.                         "You are attempting to DISKCOMP a STACKER 
  33.                          compressed disk.
  34.                          Please unmount the diskette prior to copying 
  35.                          by issuing a STACKER -(drive letter) command.

  38.         The update diskcomp fixes both issues.  The first statement
  39.         has an incorrect error and the second issues prevents diskcomp
  40.         from working.

  45.         If A: drive is auto-mounted, you may get an error to place 
  46.         the floppy in drive E:.  All that is fixed is the error
  47.         message. It will tell you how to unmount the floppy drive.

  52.         a syntax error if set to a Ramdrive.

  87.         TV-LIE is useful for fixing applications that get confused 
  88.         by the version number in PC DOS 7 and aren't fixed by a 
  89.         normal SETVER and think they're running on Windows 95.  
  90.         Known examples of such apps are recent Windows 95 releases of
  91.         X-Tree Gold v4 for Windows and PC Tools for Windows v3.

  95.         Error report IR29147 is that XDFCOPY will not recover free 
  96.         space on a drive that does not have enough free for temp files.
