  3. The archive GMKEXE.ZIP contains the file gmake.exe which is a port
  4. of GNU make 3.62.
  5.  
  6. It MUST have the environment variable SHELL= defined, otherwise it
  7. just quits without notice!
  8.  
  9. Set up the environment variable the same as the OS2_SHELL environment
  10. variable you already have in your CONFIG.SYS file.
  11.  
  12. The next version of make shall look for OS2_SHELL if it does not find
  13. SHELL.
