  4. Once you have extracted the PU2 program files from the self extracting program 
  5. PU2.EXE, then you must update the CONFIG.SYS file and add a folder and program 
  6. icons to the desktop.  The product normally installs into a sub-directory 
  7. called "C:\PU2" with a data directory called "\PU2\DATA".

  9.  1. Make a directory called \PU2 if you did not already do so. 
  10.  
  11.            MD C:\PU2
  12.  
  13.  2. Make a directory called \PU2\DATA 
  14.  
  15.            MD C:\PU2\DATA
  16.  
  17.  3. Move the files from the directory that you unziped them to the new PU2 
  18.     directory if you did not install them into this directory initially: 
  19.  
  20.            COPY *.* C:\PU2
  21.            ERASE *.*
  22.  
  23.  4. Log onto the drive and directory where you copied PU2: 
  24.  
  25.            C:
  26.            CD \PU2
  27.  
  28.  5. Run ICONS.CMD to build the PU/2 desktop folder and program objects.

  30.  6. Update the CONFIG.SYS with the following changes: 
  31.  
  32.    o Add to LIBPATH=  ... ;C:\PU2; ... 
  33.    o Add to SET PATH= ... ;C:\PU2; ... 
  34.    o Add to SET HELP= ... ;C:\PU2; ...

  36.  7. Shutdown OS/2 and Re-boot.
