ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.1. General Information ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Print Dialogue allows you to control the number of copies printed and the
page range to print. The fields at the top of the dialogue show the selected
printer name and the document name to be printed.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.2. Printer Name ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
This field displays the name of either the printer you select or the system
default printer, if you did not previously select a specific printer.
This will be the destination of your printed output.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.3. Document Name ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
This field shows you the name of the document which you have selected to print.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.4. Print All Pages ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Selecting the "All" radio button option tells the program to print all pages of
the document.
If you wish to specify the range of pages to print, then use the "Selective"
option choice and specify the ranges in the entry fields.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.5. Selective Print ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Select this option if you wish to specify the page range to be printed. If you
select "All", then all pages will be printed and the page range entry fields
will not accept input.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.6. From Page Number ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
In order to be able to specify the page range to be printed, you must be in
"Selective" mode.
Specify the numeric page number to start printing. If you are in selective
mode, then you must specify a starting page number range.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.7. To Page Number ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
In order to be able to specify the page range to be printed, you must be in
"Selective" mode.
Specify the numeric page number of the ending page in the range you wish to
print. Enter 999 for all pages.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.8. Number of Copies ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Enter a number to tell the print subsystem how many copies of the document you
wish to print. You are limited to a two digit number.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.9. Print Preview ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
This option controls whether the output is sent to the printer or sent to the
screen for reviewing.
Note that not all programs support print preview. If this option is disabled,
then the program does not support this function.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.10. Print Pushbutton ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The print pushbutton starts the print request or the preview request.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.11. Cancel Pushbutton ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The cancel pushbutton aborts any changes you made to the panel and returns
control back to the higher level window.

The Printing Options dialogue allows you to select a printer and optionally
specify any job properties for the current job.
The job properties dialogue is specific to a given printer and is displayed by
the print driver.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.2. List of Printers ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The list box will contain a list of all available printers installed on your
system. This is actually the Queue name which has been setup for the printer.
Make a single selection and press the OK pushbutton.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.3. Help For Job Properties ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The job properties pushbutton will initiate a dialgue with the print driver to
display the options available for printing. This varies between print drivers
and is a custom dialogue for each print driver.
Note that the options selected are only validated for this job and there is no
permenant change to the system .INI file.

This pushbutton signals the program that your selections have been made.

ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3.1. General Information ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Print Preview window allows you to preview the printed page. You can view
the page in one of three sizes: small, regular, or large. The scroll bars can
be used to scroll the viewing window over the page. You can also page forward
or backward.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3.2. File Menu Option ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The file menu option allows you to either exit print preview or to print the
document. Selecting print will re-display the print dialogue.

The Print menu option will terminate print preview and return you to the print
dialogue window.

The Exit menu option will terminate print preview and return you back to the
main program.

The view menu option allows you displays a drop down menu. This drop down menu
allows you to change the size of the displayed page, go to the previous page or
next page, and change to the Options screen.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3.7. Help For Small View ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Small view menu option allows you to see the complete page. It is used to
provide a perspective of the overall page.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3.8. Help For Regular View ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Regular view allows you to observe the full page effect. You may have to
use the vertical scroll bar to see the lower portion of the page.

The Large view will allow you to zoom in on the page. You must use both the
vertical and the horizontal scroll bars to move about the page.

The Next Page can be accessed by the PgDn key. It will display the next page in
the document.

The Previous Page option allows you to page backward by a single page. This
function can be invoked via the PgUp key.
