  1. To add the RFT text filter (16bit) to IBM Works do the following:

  3. 1. Close all IBM Works applications
  4.  
  5. 2. PKUNZIP the WKSRFT.ZIP file
  6.  
  7. 3. Copy the following DLLs to the IBM Works directory
  8.         Date    Time   CRC-32     Name
  9.       --------  -----  --------  ------------
  10.       03-28-95  13:34  e3f42d3a  autorec.dll
  11.       04-25-95  16:25  e7741dcd  w4w15f.dll
  12.       04-25-95  16:29  16f3fac9  w4w15t.dll

  14. 4. Make the following changes to your IBMWORKS.INI file

  16.    Note: The open and close parens below are actually left and
  17.          right square brackets.

  19.    A. In the (Extensions) section, add the "RFT=Revisable Form Text/DCA" line

  24.    B. In the (WP) section, add "RFT," to the following four lines

  27.       Open=LWP,RFT,RTF,DOC,SAM,WP5,WP6,TXT
  28.       OpenAll=LWP,RFT,RTF,DOC,SAM,WP5,WP6,TXT
  29.       SaveAs=LWP,RFT,RTF,DOC,SAM,WP5,WP6,TXT
  30.       ImportText=LWP,RFT,RTF,DOC,SAM,WP5,WP6,TXT

  32.    C. In the (Mastersoft Text Filter) section, add the
  33.       (Revisable Form Text/DCA) line.
