  1. This is a fix for the following problem. If you do not have this problem
  2. then DO NOT apply this fix to your system.
  3.  
  4. APAR= PJ16036  (OS/2 Warp for Windows)
  5.  #108800 - HP - GREAT PLAINS DYNAMICS WIN32S ERROR "UNHANDLED
  6.  EXCEPTION 0X0000005"
  7.  
  8. APAR= PJ17375  (OS/2 Warp with WINOS2)
  9.  #108800 - FP - WIN32S ERROR "UNHANDLED EXCEPTION 0XC0000005"
  10.   RUNNING CERTAIN WINDOWS APPLICATIONS

  13. To apply this fix, do the following:
  14.  
  15. 1. Open a OS/2 Window or Fullscreen session.
  16.  
  17. 2. RENAME \OS2\MDOS\VW32S.SYS  VW32S.OLD
  18.      If this fails with the following message
  19.  
  20.      SYS0032: The process cannot access the file because it is being used
  21.      by another process.
  22.  
  23.      then your need to shutdown and boot from the Install disks or another
  24.      bootable OS/2 or DOS partition then do the rename. You can also do the
  25.      COPY from here.

  27. 3. Copy the new file to \OS2\MDOS
  28.  
  29. 4. Shutdown and reboot your system
