Since Fixpack 31, Warp 3 can apparently make full use of TrueType fonts as well
as Warp 4.
You need a valid TRUETYPE.DLL, which is in this package. This DLL was installed
here by the Java111.ZIP Install in order to provide support for the Unicode Times
Roman font. The TTF for that font is very large, 7 MB, and beyond the scope of
this patch.
Put TRUETYPE.DLL in the \OS2\DLL directory.
Open OS2.INI in INIMAINT or another INI editor. You gotta have a real INI editor
because this is a binary file and you're going to add data inside it, which will
change the checksum and basically screw up your system otherwise.
In OS2.INI, navigate to an Application named PM_Font_Drivers and after the
Key named PMATM you'll add a new Key named TRUETYPE and give it the Value of
\OS2\DLL\TRUETYPE.DLL If your INI editor gives you the option of adding a Zero
Terminator, accept it.
Save and close the file and reboot. You can now add TTF fonts via OS/2's Font
Palette or using Cliff Cullum's excellent utility FontFolder, v.3.
