  19. 1)  Insert the System Information Tool Corrective Service diskette into
  20. diskette drive A.

  73. IV.  Known Problems and Limitations
  74.  
  75. 1)  System Information Tool reports some 486 processors as 386 processors.  We
  76. are working on a fix for this at present, and this fix will be made available
  77. in a patch in the near future.
  78.  
  79. 2)  Due to problems with the device driver for Sound Blaster-attached
  80. CD-ROM drives (SBCD2.ADD) that shipped with Warp, System Information Tool would
  81. sometimes crash the system when it was gathering the CD-ROM drive information
  82. on systems that used this driver.  The new System Information Tool executable
  83. will check whether the SBCD2.ADD is in use, and whether the version of
  84. SBCD2.ADD is the version that shipped with Warp.  If it is, then System
  85. Information Tool will not make the unsupported calls that cause the system
  86. to crash.  As a result, however, CD-ROM information will be rather limited.

  88. NOTE:  An updated SBCD2.ADD driver that fixes this problem is available
  89. via FTP from ftp-os2.cdrom.com.  The file (CDDRVR.ZIP) is found in the
  90. os2/warp/patches directory, and it contains a variety of new CD-ROM drivers
  91. for use with OS/2 2.1 and OS/2 Warp.  If you are using the _new_ SBCD2.ADD,
  92. System Information Tool will be able to gather considerably more information
  93. about your CD-ROM drive.
