  7.  Super Compare for OS/2 (SuperC) is a fast and versatile program that
  8.  compares two files, two file groups (file names that contain '*' as
  9.  wild card characters), a user-designated list of file pairs, or a pair
  10.  of directories.  It can compare files at the file, line, word, or byte
  11.  level and create a variety of output listings that makes it easy to see
  12.  file differences.  The output may even be generated in a side-by-side
  13.  listing format.  Direct viewing of the comparison results by a
  14.  user-designated editor program is possible without exiting SuperC.

  16.  SuperC features speed, simplicity of use, and accuracy of comparison
  17.  via a unique algorithm that is able to resynchronize the comparison
  18.  despite a large number of differences.  Files of an unlimited number of
  19.  lines and line lengths are routinely handled.  The input files may be
  20.  filtered before being compared.  This allows the user to personalize
  21.  the operation so the compare results can emphasize the immediate user
  22.  requirements.  SuperC also provides an extensive Search-For text
  23.  capability, in which text strings can be designated as words, prefixes,
  24.  or suffixes.

  26.  SuperC requires only the names of two input files in order to perform a
  27.  comparison.  SuperC's Search-For function requires a minimum of one
  28.  input file.  Process options and process statements may be specified in
  29.  order to filter input prior to comparison.  Process options are single
  30.  command keywords passed as input parameters.  Process statements
  31.  contain a command keyword with one or more operands, and must be input
  32.  through a file.  SuperC can be invoked from the command line or from
  33.  the SuperC menu.  Help screens are incorporated into the menu system
  34.  detailing the entire SuperC process.
