  15.      The third edition of the best-selling, award-winning "REXX Reference
  16. Summary Handbook" (Dick Goran - ISBN 0-9639854-2-6) is a 200 page,
  17. "keyboard-side" companion which details all of the instructions and
  18. functions in SAA REXX distributed with OS/2 Version 2.1 and OS/2 Warp. It
  19. also describes all of the functions included in the REXXLIB and RXWINDOW
  20. external function packages available from Quercus Systems - the Personal
  21. REXX developer. The Handbook, as indicated by its subtitle, also contains
  22. all of the information necessary to create and maintain Workplace Shell
  23. objects in OS/2.

  25.      The new OS/2 Warp REXXUTIL functions have been added to the Handbook
  26. along with the setup strings for both version 2.1 and Warp version 3.0 of
  27. OS/2. Also new to the third edition is the addition of the REXX and
  28. Workplace Shell setup parameters used by DeskMan/2, a WPS product from
  29. Development Technologies.

  31.      The Handbook, which was awarded the 1994 OS/2 Magazine Editor's Choice
  32. award, is not intended as either a tutorial or a learner's guide. With its
  33. 30 page cross referenced index, the Handbook is an important tool that will
  34. allow the novice REXX user and the REXX veteran alike to easily locate any
  35. needed function as well as identifying the various functions which deal with
  36. a particular subject.
