Miller Freeman Inc. Announces Launch of the First
Independent European Developers Conference for OS/2
San Francisco, September 1, 1994 - The publishers of OS/2 DEVELOPER
announced today the launch of a European conference for building
software solutions on OS/2. OS/2 DEVELOPMENT '95 will be held in
Amsterdam, at the Hotel Krasnapolsky May 8-10, 1995.
This conference was launched in answer to the growing demand for
in-depth technical information to enable European software developers
to deliver solutions on OS/2. The keynote address by, John Soyring,
Division Director, IBM Personal Software Products, will show how OS/2
will provide the rich environment for high productivity software
solution delivery.
OS/2 is the fastest growing 32-bit desktop operating system. Whether
creating software for retail sale, or building software solutions for
proprietary deployment across their company, OS/2 DEVELOPMENT '95 will
give developers the deeper technical understanding they need to
increase their OS/2 programming ability. Course material will include
Workplace Shell programming, Smalltalk, REXX, C++, SOM/DSOM
development, OpenDoc, and Workplace OS/2.
