  7. Byers View Station for OS/2 is a CAD viewer designed specifically

  9. Version 6.0 is a 32-bit, native OS/2 PM application.  The software 
  10. allows users to easily view, redline (markup), and  print without
  11. having write access to the Design (DGN) file.  The upgraded version
  12. now supports the popular .CIT (Intergraph) raster file format in 
  13. true raster/vector  hybrid mode.  This is a niche product that is 
  14. very useful for those who need view, redline, and print access to 
  15. Design files outside of MicroStation.

  19. for OS/2 version 6.0.

  21. Version 6.0 is a native 32-bit enabled OS/2 Presentation Manager 
  22. application.

  24. View Station for OS/2 version 6.0. is a native OS/2 application that 
  25. offers viewing, printing, and redlining of Intergraph (MicroStation
  26. and IGDS)2-D graphics files.  Version 6.0 has full support for 
  27. Intergraph's CIT raster file format.

  29. The software is "read only" to the viewed design files. Users cannot 
  30. manipulate any existing MicroStation elements.

  32. Requiring minimal training and setup, View Station was designed for 
  33. occasional or non-CAD users who need access to Intergraph Design (.DGN) 
  34. files.

  36. It is ideal for design review, facilities management, planning, and
  37. research/reporting applications.  Many users are taking the application
  38. into the field on notebooks or with Pen for OS/2.

  40. View Station provides extensive compatibility with MicroStation features
  41. by supporting display of all reference file transformations, special 
  42. element types, and color tables.  View Station also provides the 
  43. ability to display associated dBaseIII records for MS-linked elements.

  45. Users can choose from several redline tools to markup drawings without 
  46. affecting original design files.  All redline symbology is fully 
  47. compatible with MicroStation and can be used in that environment
  48. without modification.

  51. redline symbology, and distance/area measuring.

  53. View Station supports all OS/2 supported output devices, including 
  54. laser printers, HPGL, and PostScript.  Scaled printing is now supported.

  57. configurable.

  60. taking this application to the field using notebooks and Pen for OS/2.
