  5. ABOUT THE                                                                       
  6. COURSE:       This course teaches experienced C language programmers            
  7.               to use the C+ programming language in the OS/2 environment.       
  8.               It covers the constructs of language including templates          
  9.               and exception handling.  The course focus is on the C++           
  10.               language itself rather than on object-oriented design.            
  11.               Extensive exercises on the IBM PS/2 with OS/2 are used            
  12.               to reinforce the lecture materials.                               
  13.                                                                                 
  14. PREREQS:      Before taking this course, you should be able to write            
  15.               programs in the C language using structures, pointers,            
  16.               and dynamic storage.  These skills can be developed by            
  17.               taking C Language Fundamentals (K3604) and C Language             
  18.               Data Structures (K3605).                                          
  19.                                                                                 
  20.               This course is also the a prerequisite for P1067                  
  21.               OS/2 V2 Presentation Manager Programming Using C++.
