  1. IBM CICS OS/2 2.0 Early Introduction Program

  4. The CICS OS/2 Version 2.0 Early Introduction Program is now available 
  5. free of charge to members of the IBM World Wide Developer Assistance 
  6. Program (DAP) that are currently developing or planning to develop
  7. applications using CICS OS/2 (English version only).
  8.          
  9.                                                                                 
  10. CICS OS/2 Version 2.0 provides CICS transaction management to multiple 
  11. users of LAN-attached programmable workstations and RTIC-attached ASCII 
  12. terminals.  CICS OS/2 Version 2.0 operates as a server for clients, 
  13. supports cooperative processing when required with other CICS family 
  14. systems and provides powerful on-line transaction processing (OLTP) 
  15. capabilities to support business critical applications and data in 
  16. client/server environments.  In addition CICS OS/2 Version 2.0 provides 
  17. enhanced CICS support for the single user at a stand-alone or 
  18. host-attached workstation.

  21. help-line at (407) 982-6408.  Please have your DAP ID No. ready when
  22. calling.  The beta code may also be downloaded from the Software Mall 
  23. for those people who subscribe.

  25. Support will be provided with a 'best can do' fax help-line.  Details 
  26. will be included in the package.

  28. The beta code is fixed to stop working one month after general 
  29. availability of CICS OS/2 Version 2.0, ie.  October 24, 1993.
