  8. IBM CallPath(R) DirectTalk/2(TM) V2.1 Upgrade from V1.x is now
  9. available.

  27. Orders for new licenses will be accepted now.

  29. Shipments will begin on the planned availability date.

  31. To order these programs for order type, specify the order type
  32. number, feature number, part number, program name, media, and
  33. quantity.

  35. Program Package Upgrade -- Program media with documentation
  36.  
  37. For a Version 1.x to Version 2.1 upgrade, the customer must order the
  38. Base Upgrade Package, the appropriate Line Upgrade Package, and
  39. Optional Feature Upgrade Package(s) as required.

  41. Note: No separate version-to-version upgrade packages are required
  42. for the language packages.  The language packages are included at no
  43. charge on the CD-ROM upgrade package.

  45. The diskette images for the base code, drivers, and language options
  46. are included on the CD-ROM to enable the customer to make a set of
  47. diskettes either for backup or installation from diskette if
  48. required.

  50. Program Upgrade
  51.  
  52. The program package upgrade option allows currently licensed users of
  53. DirectTalk/2 V1.x to obtain the new function for a program upgrade
  54. charge.  The program upgrade to DirectTalk/2 V2.1 will be available
  55. November 12, 1996.  Orders will be accepted after November 12, 1996.
  56. These upgrades will be available through IBM authorized remarketers.
  57. The remarketer will require a Proof of Entitlement for each upgrade
  58. ordered.

  60. Customers can also order upgrades through the local IBM office using
  61. the IBM Personal Computer/System Program IBM U.S.  Upgrade and
  62. Certification Order Form.

  64. The terms and conditions for DirectTalk/2, as previously announced in
  65. Software Announcement 296-238, dated June 25, 1996, are unchanged.
