Abstract
IBM CallPath(R) DirectTalk/2(TM) V2.1 Upgrade from V1.x is now
available.
Refer to Software Announcement 296-238, dated June 25, 1996, for full
details of DirectTalk/2 V2.1.
Availability Date: November 12, 1996

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
ORDERING INFORMATION
Orders for new licenses will be accepted now.
Shipments will begin on the planned availability date.
To order these programs for order type, specify the order type
number, feature number, part number, program name, media, and
quantity.
Program Package Upgrade -- Program media with documentation
For a Version 1.x to Version 2.1 upgrade, the customer must order the
Base Upgrade Package, the appropriate Line Upgrade Package, and
Optional Feature Upgrade Package(s) as required.
Note: No separate version-to-version upgrade packages are required
for the language packages. The language packages are included at no
charge on the CD-ROM upgrade package.
The diskette images for the base code, drivers, and language options
are included on the CD-ROM to enable the customer to make a set of
diskettes either for backup or installation from diskette if
required.
Program Upgrade
The program package upgrade option allows currently licensed users of
DirectTalk/2 V1.x to obtain the new function for a program upgrade
charge. The program upgrade to DirectTalk/2 V2.1 will be available
November 12, 1996. Orders will be accepted after November 12, 1996.
These upgrades will be available through IBM authorized remarketers.
The remarketer will require a Proof of Entitlement for each upgrade
ordered.
Customers can also order upgrades through the local IBM office using
the IBM Personal Computer/System Program IBM U.S. Upgrade and
Certification Order Form.
The terms and conditions for DirectTalk/2, as previously announced in
Software Announcement 296-238, dated June 25, 1996, are unchanged.
