  4. ABSTRACT          The Ultimedia (R) Mail/2 (UltiMail) Kit for TCP/IP Version 2.0
  5.            for OS/2 (R) is IBM's new standards-based OS/2 multimedia electronic
  6.            mail product for TCP/IP networks, including Internet.
  7.                   UltiMail is an OS/2-based multimedia authoring, sending and
  8.            receiving electronic mail system that includes audio, images, video
  9.            and binary attachments for TCP/IP networks.
  10.                   With UltiMail users can create, receive, send and experience a
  11.            wide variety of media types that can be enclosed in a message.  These
  12.            include:
  13.            o   Text
  14.            o   Enriched text (bold, underline, italics, others)
  15.            o   Images (OS/2-BMP, GIF)
  16.            o   Audio (Wave, MIDI)
  17.            o   Simple video clips (TV commercial length)
  18.            o   Binary attachments (programs, spreadsheets, word processor
  19.                documents, other files)
  20.                   UltiMail can be used to author and transmit complex multimedia
  21.            messages in conformance with the Multipurpose Internet Mail
  22.            Extensions (MIME) -- RFC 1521 protocols to assure interoperability
  23.            with other MIME and non-MIME products.
  24.                   As an example, the TCP/IP Version 2.0 Base Kit provides basic
  25.            electronic mail capability in the Sendmail and LaMAIL functions.
  26.            UltiMail can exchange text mail with these functions or with any
  27.            standard implementation of TCP/IP electronic mail.
  28.                   The Ultimedia Mail/2 Kit was previously announced in Software
  29.            Announcement 293-410 as the MultiMail Kit and was renamed in Software
  30.            Announcement 293-689.
