The installation program for OS/2 Warp Version 3.0 on CD-ROM
does not install properly on certain models of Server 95A. The
install program will stop after displaying a red screen with a
message stating that there is no accessible CD-ROM.
Customers who are experiencing this problem can install OS/2
Warp Version 3.0 on CD-ROM by performing the following:
1. Copy IBMRAID.ADD into diskette 1 and add
BASEDEV=IBMRAID.ADD into CONFIG.SYS of diskette 1.
2. Boot with Diskette 0 and insert Diskette 1 when prompted.
3. When the red screen appears press Enter for the OS/2
command prompt.
4. type d: where d: is the CD-ROM drive.
5. change to directory os2image\disk_1
6. If you need to make a partition type fdisk and restart from step 2.
otherwise type sysinst2 d:\os2image and press Enter.
7. At this point it is standard warp installation.
