  9. Notation:

  11.         shift+key               Indicates that you should hold down the key(s)
  12.                                 indicated by "shift" (Shift, Alt, Ctrl or a
  13.                                 combination of these) and press the "key" key.
  14.                                 Then release the "key" and, unless the next
  15.                                 function requires the same shift keys,
  16.                                 release the "shift" keys.
  17.  
  18.         shift+key        (2.0)  Indicates this key combination works only in
  19.                                 OS/2 version 2.0
  20.         shift+key        (2.x)  Indicates this key combination works in
  21.                                 OS/2 versions 2.0+ and 2.1+
  22.         shift+key        (Warp) Indicates this key combination works only in
  23.                                 OS/2 Warp version 3

  25. Startup Tasks:

  27.     Use these keys after starting up or rebooting the system.

  29.         Alt+F1           (2.x)  Restore default desktop
  30.                                 - Press Alt+F1 once after the initial beep
  31.                                   but before the OS/2 logo appears
  32.         Alt+F1           (Warp) Display recovery options
  33.                                 - Press Alt+F1 once after "yyy OS/2" appears
  34.                                   in the upper left corner of the screen
  35.         Alt+F2           (Warp) Display drivers as they are being loaded
  36.         Ctrl+Shift+F1           Inhibit auto-start features
  37.                                 - Hold down Ctrl+Shift+F1 after the mouse
  38.                                   pointer has changed to an arrow.
  39.                                 - If disk activity stops before the OS/2
  40.                                   desktop appears, release only the F1 key
  41.                                   and immediately hold it down again.
