  8. ABOUT THE IBM PERSONAL SYSTEMS SUPPORT GUIDE
  9. --------------------------------------------
  10. The IBM Personal Systems Support Guide is a customer deliverable
  11. designed to give a comprehensive and structured approach for IBM
  12. Personal Systems hardware and software products.  There are two
  13. versions of the guide:  a pocket version and the full version.
  14. The guide can be freely distributed to anyone - customers, dealers,
  15. etc.

  17. The pocket version is a two-page, fan-fold summary of the most used
  18. IBM support numbers.  The full version is 58 pages in length, and is
  19. divided into the following chapters:

  21.             1  - IBM Phone Number Directory
  22.             2  - IBM Purchasing and Ordering Information
  23.             3  - IBM Automated Fax Support
  24.             4  - IBM Electronic Support
  25.             5  - IBM Support Offerings
  26.             6  - IBM Development Support Offerings
  27.             7  - IBM Tools and Publications
  28.             8  - IBM IBM Services

  31. PRINTING EPS FILES
  32. ------------------
  33. The EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) files require a PostScript printer
  34. to print.  EPS files will not print on a 3820.  These files need to
  35. be downloaded to your PC as BINARY.  Once downloaded, they can be
  36. printed to your PostScript printer by entering a command such as
  37. "copy pssguide.eps lpt3" (only an example).  If printing to a LAN
  38. printer, make sure you are going to a PostScript queue!!  After
  39. printing, photocopy both versions to be two-sided (duplexed).
