  1. OS/2 2.1 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPERS' KIT (PDK) AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE

  5. The second version of the OS/2 2.1 PDK is now available to qualified
  6. members of the Worldwide Developers Assistance Program.  The PDK is used
  7. to provide developers with beta-level tools needed to develop 32-bit
  8. OS/2 applications.
  9.  
  10. The intended audience for this PDK is the professional OS/2 developer
  11. with CD ROM experience.  We assume that you have your CD ROM attached
  12. and that you have the necessary device drivers which work under OS/2 2.1
  13. to support your CD ROM drive.  Current CD ROM drives supported by OS/2
  14. 2.1 include all IBM CD ROM drives and many industry-standard SCSI CD ROM
  15. drives and adapters.  Additional device drivers are available from
  16. third-party vendors.

  18. Ordering a PDK
  19. --------------
  20. In the Unites States, you must be a member of the Worldwide Developer
  21. Assistance Program to order a PDK; if you are not member, you can enroll
  22. by calling 1-800-3-IBM-OS2.  WorldWide Developer Assistance members must
  23. present their ID# when placing the order.

  26. number listed next to their respective geography below.  For geographies
