NEW VERSION of IBM LAN SOFTWARE BUYER'S GUIDE
Announcing the completely updated and improved IBM* LAN Software
Buyer's Guide! The Buyers Guide is a comprehensive single source of
information designed to help customers make network buying
decisions. There is a wealth of information including product quick
reference and specifics for over 60+ products, Workplace OS and LAN
Systems strategy, workgroup applications, customer closeups,
plus education and support.
The guide helps you learn more about the breadth of the IBM LAN and
client/server product line by including products ranging from network
operating systems and operating systems (such as OS/2* WARP,
AIX*, and AS/400*), to DCE, workgroup applications, and network and
systems management products.
For your convenience, the guide is available on CompuServe in the
following formats:
1. ASCII - see list of files below (LANBAS.ZIP)
2. Postscript - see list of files below (LANBPS.ZIP)
3. Information file - viewable and searchable on your PC using
either OS/2 or Windows** (LANBUY.ZIP for the OS/2 version and
LANZIP.EXE for the Windows version)
LANBUY.ZIP (INF format)
Entire guide which can be viewed and searched. To run this file
using OS/2, download this file to your PC, unzip and in the
OS/2 window type VIEW LANBUY.
LANZIP.EXE (Windows format)
To run this file using Windows, download the self extracting zipped
file named LANZIP.EXE. At the DOS prompt type LANZIP for the
zipped file to unzip. Follow the instructions in the README file
to run the Windows version of LANBUY.INF.
