  1. Capital PC User Group, OS/2 SIG Meeting

  3. Directions to the CPCUG facilities for the Maryland Meeting of the OS/2 SIG.

  5.         By Metro:
  6.         Take the Red line to the Rockville station.  Go left via the West exit and:
  7.         ->      Before 6:30 PM, go up two floors to the B(ridge) level, and across
  8.                 the enclosed walkway towards Rockville Center, over Hungerford/Rockville Pike
  9.                 Route 355).  Go into the first entrance to the building on the left
  10.                 (51 Monroe Street) and bear left.
  11.         ->      After 6:30 PM, go up one floor to the S(treet) level.  Go diagonally left
  12.                 to the traffic light at the intersection of the bus entrance with 
  13.                 Hungerford Drive/Rockville Pike.  Walk ahead toward Montgomery County
  14.                 Executive Center and Judicial Center) about on-half block to 51 Monroe Street.
  15.                 Look for the red awning at the entrance.  Take the elevator up one level
  16.                 to the Plaza level lobby.  Turn left and go through the glass doors;
  17.                 go down the hallway to Plaza East 2.

  19.         By auto:
  20.         ->      Driving north on I-270, get into the right-hand local lanes.
  21.                 Take exit 5, which is marked Falls Road, Route 189, Rockville Town Center.
  22.                 Stay in the right lane of the exit ramp and continue onto Maryland Avenue.
  23.                 At the third traffic signal, turn right at Fleet Street.
  24.                 At the next corner, turn left onto Monroe Street.
  25.                 Take the second right (still Monroe Street) and enter the garage
  26.                 on your left by the red awning marked "51 Monroe".
  27.         ->      From Route 355 north (Gaithersburg area), Go south toward Rockville on 355.
  28.                 Pass the Hechingers store.  Near the Rockville Metro Station, get into the right lane.
  29.                 Turn right onto Monroe Street and enter the garage by the red awning marked "51 Monroe".
  30.         ->      From Route 355 south , go north on 355 (Rockville Pike) toward Rockville Center.
  31.                 Bear left onto west Route 28 (follow signs for Route 270).  After one block,
  32.                 turn right onto Monroe Street (note the Potomac Valley Bank on the corner).
  33.                 Go one block to the stop sign.  Turn right (still Monroe Street) and enter 
  34.                 the garage on your left by the red awning marked "51 Monroe".

  37.          When you enter the parking garage, press the button to convince the machine to issue a ticket.
  38.          Bring the ticket with you into the meeting for validation.

  40.          If the double glass door entrance to the building is locked, use the cypher lock.
  41.          The password is 2915 (shhh only thousands know it).  The meeting is in the CPCUG offices
  42.          on the lobby floor.  When you exit the elevator, turn left, pass through the
  43.          double glass door marked "East Plaza" and continue down the hall.
