  3.      The Second International Colorado OS/2 Developers Conference
  4. (ColoradOS/2) will be held October 31 through November 5, 1993 in Colorado
  5. Springs, Colorado.  This conference is devoted exclusively to OS/2
  6. programming, and it provides a rare opportunity to meet and learn from the
  7. world's top OS/2 technical experts -- many of whom have been responsible for
  8. the architecture or design of significant portions of OS/2.
  9.  
  10.      You'll be mingling with these OS/2 experts at the Cheyenne Mountain
  11. Conference Resort, tucked into the beautiful scenic foothills of Colorado's
  12. Rocky Mountains.  And you'll be attending the OS/2-only developers conference
  13. that was described by many earlier participants as "the best technical
  14. conference I have ever attended".

  16.      ColoradOS/2 provides the most extensive technical coverage of OS/2 ever
  17. brought together in a single conference.  Some sessions focus on the
  18. transition from DOS or Windows programming to OS/2, while others focus on the
  19. transition from 16-bit to 32-bit programming.  Many sessions are of
  20. particular interest to Presentation Manager programmers, as we provide
  21. detailed information on programming the new PM controls introduced with OS/2
  22. version 2.x.

  24.      Object programming sessions cover topics on Workplace Shell (WPS) and
  25. System Object Model (SOM) programming, C Set++ and the User Interface Class
  26. Library, and Smalltalk/V PM.  Other topics include REXX, OS/2 Device Driver
  27. development, multithreaded programming techniques for both PM and VIO
  28. programs, client/server programming, Extended Services and Communications
  29. Manager.  You will customize your own participation in this conference,
  30. selecting the topics that address your areas of greatest interest.

  33. automatically receive a brochure in the mail with complete details,
  34. approximately mid-July.  The full text of that brochure has been uploaded to
  35. CompuServe's OS2DF1 forum, library 15 (Open Forum).  Look for a file named
  36. COLOS2.ZIP, which will contain both an encapsulated PostScript file and an
  37. ordinary text file with complete brochure text.  Finally, if you are not a
