Maxfield Parrish (1870-1966)
Maxfield Parrish was one of America's most celebrated artists of the early
20th centry. A leader in professional illustration, Parrish had one of the
longest and most successful careers in the history of American Art. His
illustrations for children's books and publications such as Scribner's
Magazine, Centry Magazine, Life and Collier's were rendered in a style so
distinguished that they brought him to a height of recognition seldom
achieved by a living artist.

colors, the BMP is 24 bit color. Both were saved as Windows bitmaps. (I know
Why Windows and not OS/2? well my scanner wont work under OS/2, end of
apology.
I hope many of you will enjoy this as much as I do, I will do other of Parrish
work as I have time.
