  1. This is a modified version of the original Windows 3.1 logo, based on the
  2. famous "Dead NT" logo.
  3.  
  4. To install in your current Windows 3.1 opening screen:
  5.  
  6.         1. Backup your current C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\VGALOGO.RLE &
  7.            your C:\WINDOWS\WIN.COM
  8.  
  9.         2. Copy DEAD_WIN.RLE to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\VGALOGO.RLE
  10.  
  11.         3. From DOS type:     CD \WINDOWS
  12.                               SETUP
  13.  
  14.         4. Change your video resolution to a different one:
  15.                 (e.g., from "Super VGA (800x600x16)" to "VGA")
  16.  
  17.         5. Save and exit.
  18.  
  19.         6. Run SETUP again, ang change back to your original video
  20.            resolution.
  21.  
  22.         7. Start WindoZe... :)
