  1. Lewisham is based on the lettering from a turn of
  2. the century advertisment for Lewis's a well known
  3. chain of outfitter's in Britain (not, incidently,
  4. based in Lewisham at all, I just liked the name).

  6. It looks very like Engraver or Copperplate Gothic,
  7. but not quite.  it is a small caps font, but the
  8. base line of the capitals is dropped below the
  9. rest of the text quite a nice effect I think.
