This font was originally a Mac Postscript font was either
shareware or PD. I have included in this zip some of the
original Mac or Pc docs which came with the unconverted font or
with a font originally created by the same author, if I could
find it.
This documentation is not necessary for you to read to use this
font with Adobe Type Manager, though you might want to
contribute something to the indivual originally created the font.
I converted these Mac fonts Postscript type 1 hinted fonts which
can be used with Adobe Type Manager for Windows on a pc. I used
Corel Draw ver. 2.0 to convert these fonts to the Zsoft .Otl
format, and then used Zsoft's SoftType to create the hinted type
1 Postscript format with both .pfb and .pfm files.
LHLChiTown Font

ChiTown is a PostScript language font that resembles the bit-mapped font, Chicago. It is useful for headlines and for converting screen dumps into Adobe Illustrator documents. The font consists of three documents: ChiTow, ChiTown.AFM, and ChiTown.bmap.
To use this font, put the ChiTow and ChiTown.AFM documents in your system folder. DO NOT CHANGE THEIR NAMES. Install ChiTown.bmap in your system fonts using Font/DA Mover, or, if you are using Suitcase, place it in your system folder also.
ChiTown is free, but it is NOT public domain. This font cannot be resold or used in commercial products without my consent. It CAN be uploaded onto other bulletin boards and modem-accessed information networks (CompuServe, GEnie, etc.). It can be included on disks sold by non-profit users groups, but not on disks that are sold for a profit.
The Font ID number is 217.
