Note: If you run Warp 4, fixpack 10
and Object REXX, you must switch
to classic REXX to install UPS
Monitor. After installation, you
can switch back to Object REXX.
Starting with version 1.2, a new
installation script is used. Copy
the file UPSMONS.INI over to the new
directory. Any previous installation
of UPS Monitor may then be removed
by following the uninstallation
instructions of that particular
version.
To get started with UPS Monitor quickly,
please do the following:
1. Install UPS Monitor
- Unzip the program archive into a
separate, temporary directory,
with the name UPSMINST for example.
That directory MUST be separate
from the final directory (UPSMON
by default).
- Open an OS/2 command prompt, change
to the drive and directory where
you put the UPS Monitor files and
run UPSMINST.EXE
- The self-extracting installation
program will put a folder with all
the UPS Monitor program objects
onto your desktop. Simply follow the
prompts given. A reboot after
installation is NOT required.
- Copy UPSMONS.INI from the previous
version over to the new UPS Monitor.
2. Run UPS Monitor by double-clicking on
the UPS Monitor icon. To display help,
simply press F1 anywhere inside the
program.

Run UNINSTAL.CMD inside the UPS Monitor folder
which will completely remove all UPS Monitor
files and objects from your system. No reboot
is required.
