  103. Encryption is provided by the file DES.EXE.
  104. DES.EXE is dependant on the file EMX.DLL.
  105. DES.EXE is a public domian utility that performs
  106. the encryption/decryption used by Password Manager.

  108. The following is part of the readme files that are
  109. included in the DES.ZIP package.
  110.  
  111.   This package contains a DES subroutine library based on
  112.   the original public domain code by James Gillogly, but
  113.   made faster and more flexible.

  115.   Ported to OS/2 from *ix by Aurelio Caliaro
  116.   (caliaro@avalon.unizh.ch).
  117.   This is freely distributable and is full Public
  118.   Domain.  I compiled all with the fine GNU C-compiler
  119.   from Eberhard Mattes, EMX 0.8h.
  120.   Remember that emx.dll must be in a directory in
  121.   LIBPATH or in the same directory like the binaries.

  124.   the original DES package, read "ReadMe.ix".
