  2. the Guddland digital OS/2 config.sys manipulator

  6. ABOUT DOCONFIG
  7. --------------
  8. DOCONFIG is an OS/2 enhancement that simplifies
  9. the task of keeping the config.sys up-to-date with your applications.
  10.  
  11. INSTALLATION
  12. ------------
  13. Make an empty directory with the name \DOCONFIG\.
  14. Simply unzip this file (DOCONFIG.ZIP) into the new directory. There is
  15. no need for an install programm, because DOCONFIG consists of a singe .EXE.
  16.  
  17. If you like, you can move the DOCONFIG.EXE to a path, which is listed in the PATH
  18. environment variable.
  19.  
  20. DE-INSTALLATION
  21. ---------------
  22. If, perchance, you really don't like DOCONFIG, you can easily remove it
  23. from your system. Simply remove the whole directory \DOCONFIG\.
  24.  
  25. THE APPLICATION
  26. ---------------
  27. INCLUDED SETTINGS
  28. -----------------
  29. This package includes a set of 19 .SET files. These cover some
  30. popular OS/2 applications.

  32. A separate set of libraries is available from Guddland digital directly.
  33. This is a big set containing .SET files for more complicated cases and
  34. applications.
  35.  
  36. REGISTERING
  37. -----------
  38. DOCONFIG is shareware. You are granted a 30 day trial period to see if you like
  39. the software. Feel free to pass it on to friends, neighbours and colleges...
  40. If you like DOCONFIG, please register it, support the shareware concept.

  42. DOCONFIG costs only $25. This is for a single OS/2 system lifetime licence
  43. including any and all future updates to the product.

  45. On CompuServe you can register through the Shareware Registration
  46. Database. To access the database, use GO SWREG and select 'Register
  47. Shareware'. The registration ID for DOCONFIG: 7357. The price
  48. for registering DOCONFIG through CompuServe is $25.
  49.  
  50. No limitations are present that force you to register.

  104. KNOWN PROBLEMS
  105. --------------
  106. Alas, once again no software without known problems. It appears that the
  107. TMP variable is not handled in the right way.
  108. This results in something like:
