  2.  This is a short overview of the files in this directory.

  4.  ALWSSORT.CMD
  5.     gets called by the corresponding folder context menu item;
  6.     a program object for this exists in the Configuration folder.
  7.  BOOTMGR.CMD
  8.     this script modifies the XWorkplace settings in OS2.INI so that
  9.     XShutdown knows all your bootable partitions for the "Reboot
  10.     to" feature. Doesn't work with Aurora's LVM.
  11.  DEFDETLS.CMD
  12.     gets called by the corresponding folder context menu item;
  13.     a program object for this exists in the Configuration folder.
  14.  DEFICON.CMD
  15.     gets called by the corresponding folder context menu item;
  16.     a program object for this exists in the Configuration folder.
  17.  DEFTREE.CMD
  18.     gets called by the corresponding folder context menu item;
  19.     a program object for this exists in the Configuration folder.
  20.  ICONORM.CMD
  21.     gets called by the corresponding folder context menu item;
  22.     a program object for this exists in the Configuration folder.
  23.  ICONS.DLL
  24.     this DLL contains the replacements for the most commonly used
  25.     WPS default icons. This can be recreated from the "ICONS.CMD"
  26.     script in the /ICONS subdirectory. Note: Do not delete this
  27.     file. If you don't want to replace icons, disable replacements
  28.     in the "XWorkplace Setup" object.
  29.  ICOSMALL.CMD
  30.     gets called by the corresponding folder context menu item;
  31.     a program object for this exists in the Configuration folder.
  32.  NETSCDDE.EXE
  33.     the Netscape DDE interface. See the XWorkplace User Guide.
  34.  NEWOBJ.CMD
  35.     no longer used.
  36.  PACKTREE.CMD
  37.     gets called by the corresponding folder context menu item;
  38.     a program object for this exists in the Configuration folder.
  39.  REPCLASS.EXE
  40.     was used by the XFolder install script to replace WPS classes.
  41.     Explains itself on the command line.
  42.  SHOWALL.CMD
  43.     gets called by the corresponding folder context menu item;
  44.     a program object for this exists in the Configuration folder.
  45.  SOUND.DLL
  46.     XWorkplace sound access DLL. If this file is not found, the new
  47.     system sounds will not work. Delete this file if you have
  48.     problems with the new system sounds.
  49.  SOUND.SYM
  50.     symbol file in case SOUND.DLL crashes (for exception handlers).
  51.     This is new with V0.84. If this is not found, the trap logs
  52.     contain less meaningful information.
  53.  TREESIZE.EXE
  54.     gets called by the corresponding folder context menu item;
  55.     a program object for this exists in the Configuration folder.
  56.  WPSRESET.EXE
  57.     was used by the XFolder install script to restart the WPS.
  58.  XFLDR.DLL
  59.     the main XWorkplace DLL. This has all the "intelligence".
  60.  XFLDR.SYM
  61.     symbol file in case XFLDR.DLL crashes (for exception handlers).
  62.     This is new with V0.84. If this is not found, the trap logs
  63.     contain less meaningful information.
  64.  XFLDRxxx.DLL
  65.     (with "xxx" being your three-digit language code): National
  66.     Language support DLL for XWorkplace.
  67.  XHELP.CMD
  68.     used by the install script only to display messages.
  69.  XSHUTDWN.CMD
  70.     external XShutdown interface. See the XWorkplace User Guide,
  71.     "Extended Shutdown".
  72.  XWPDAEMN.EXE
  73.     XWorkplace PM daemon. This gets started while the WPS is starting
  74.     up and is required for the XWorkplace PM hook to work.
  75.  XWPHOOK.DLL
  76.     XWorkplace PM hook DLL. This implements all the hook features and
  77.     becomes part of every process once the hook is installed from
  78.     "XWorkplace Setup".
