  8. What is in this archive
  9. -----------------------
  10.   The files in this archive are relevant for all current users of VP/2
  11.   v1.00 or 1.10.  The files are a maintenance update for the Presentation
  12.   Manager interface file (Os2PmApi.Pas and Os2Def.Pas) and associated
  13.   help files (VPPM?.INF).

  17.     PMHELPUP.EXE     Automatic update of the Presentation Manager Help
  18.                      files:
  19.                      DOC\VPPM1.INF, DOC\VPPM2.INF, DOC\VPPM4.INF and
  20.                      BIN\VPPM.VPH.
  21.     OS2PMAPI.PAS     Updated OS/2 PM interface file
  22.     OS2DEF.PAS       Updated OS/2 type definitions file

  24. What has changed
  25. ----------------
  26.   In the interface files, a number of new API calls, constants and type
  27.   definitions have been added, and a few mistakes have been corrected.
  28.  
  29.   The help files have been overhauled to include correct syntax
  30.   definitions, type definitions and Pascal example code for all API
  31.   calls.  All examples in the Syntax section have been tested by the
  32.   VP/2 development team.

  34. How to apply the upgrade
  35. ------------------------
  36.   Unpack all files of this archive in your base VP/2 directory and run
  37.   the PMHELPUP.EXE file.  If one or more parts were not installed,
  38.   an error message will be displayed.

  40.   If documentation was installed and VPPM1.INF and VPPM2.INF fail to
  41.   execute properly, copy the original files from the VP/2 CD-ROM to
  42.   the DOC directory and retry.
  43.  
  44.   Finally, copy the new OS2PMAPI.PAS and OS2DEF.PAS files to SOURCE\RTL
  45.   and recompile the run-time library, for example by running the
  46.   BLDRT.CMD batch file located in the BIN directory.
