ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. About Image ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Image Sample Program will display a monochrome bitmap in a window. First
choose a file with extension .IMG from a disk directory, then open it with the
File Open dialog. The View menu allows you to change the appearance of the
image in the display window.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. File Menu ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The File menu contains the command that you use to open existing image files.
The following command appears in the File menu:
Open Opens an existing image file
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3. Open ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
You can open a file that exists on any drive or in any directory by using the
Open command. To open a file, do the following:
Select the File menu and choose the Open command.
A dialog box appears, showing you a list of files in the current directory.

1. Select the down arrow to the right of the Drive list to display all the
drives on your system.
2. Select a drive from the Drive list.
3. Select a directory from the Directory list.
4. Select a file name from the File list or type in a file name and select
the Open pushbutton to display the file you want to edit.

Use Save to store the file you are editing. After the file is saved, the text
remains in the window so that you can continue editing it.
Note: If you are editing a new file, select the Save or Save as choices to
display the Save as pop-up so that you can name the file you are
editing. A file must have a title to be saved.

Use Save as to name and save a new file or to save an existing file under a
different name, in a different directory, or on a different disk.

The View pulldown menu offers ways of changing the appearance of the image
being displayed.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 5. Detail ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The View Detail menu item allows you to display any portion of the image in a
sizable window with scroll bars.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 6. Color ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The View Foreground/Background Color menu item allows you to change the
foreground or background color of the image to any of six color values.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 7. SavePosition ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The View Save position menu item will save the current position of the image
in the viewing window.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 8. RestorePosition ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The View Restore position menu item will restore the previously-saved position
of the image in the viewing window.
