  4. The Named pipe application is the client end of a sample application of named 
  5. pipes for communication between unrelated processes.

  10. The File menu contains the command that you use to start the tic-tac-toe game. 
  11. In addition, it also contains the command that you use to exit the Sample 
  12. application. The following commands appear in the File menu:

  14.  Start Game     Starts a game of tic-tac-toe 
  15.  
  16.  Exit           Quits the Sample application

  21. You start the tic-tac-toe game by using the Start Game command. To start the 
  22. game, do the following:

  24.    1. Select the File menu and choose the Start Game command.

  26.    2. Answer Yes or No when asked if you would like to move first.

  31. You quit the Sample application by using the Exit command. To quit the Sample 
  32. application, do the following:

  39. The Option menu contains commands that you use to manipulate the display of the 
  40. tic-tac-toe board. The following commands appear in the File menu:

  42.  Swap Pieces.   Switches X's and O's.

  47.  You can switch your playing pieces between X's and O's, but you still control 
  48. the same squares.
