The SFX Installer will display your "Readme" files or License agreements at startup when you choose to use them with the installation process.
PLUGINS

It will also allow you to run plugins to handle any chores that may be special to your installation. The messagebox you saw at the start is an example of when the "PrePlug" plugin does it's work. The use of plugins are a powerful way to further customize your installations if needed. We will document some of the window handles and entry fields in the near future and give an example of how to use them.
CUSTOM BITMAPS

You may customize the bitmap in the window to the left by building a custom bitmap 154x299 pixels in size (OS/2 bmp format) and selecting your custom bitmap in the setup utility. It is best to index your colors down to 256 or less to save space as the OS/2 bmp format is larger than most. Note: PmView does a great job indexing colors. You may also elect to use the default bitmap (shown) by leaving the bitmap selection blank.
We have included a sample bitmap (SFX_Bmp.bmp) to this archive for you to use as a pattern. There is also a GDO (SFX_Bmp.GDO) with more information that can be viewed and used with TrueSpectra PhotoGraphics. TSPG is a great program to put it all together but you will still want to index the colors with PmView or equivalent to optimize the size of your final bitmap.
