The following is the sample code used in the OS/2 Programming
Pitfalls class taught at the SFTIC by Kathleen Panov. The files
are zipped, and you need to use the -d flag to unzip them and preserve
the directory structure.
Included is the HINTS.EXE that I used in the class. Every few minutes
a new hint is displayed for the appropriate program. The last hint is
the solution.
There is one program that may cause your system to hang:
BEG\WIN3 - this program was optimized to perform badly on my system but
may cause a hang on yours. Caveat Emptor!
Also \BEG\WINFONT will not consistently fail; however, this is such a
common problem I threw it in anyway.
The \BEG directory is the beginning session, and the \ADV is the advanced
session. To find the solution to the problems, look in the GOOD directories
located inside each program directory. Do a search for BINGO. Solutions
are clearly marked.
Hope you enjoy and happy bug squishing -
Kathleen Panov
