  12. * IBM OS/2 Security Enabling Services (OS/2 SES) are a set of extensions
  13. * to the OS/2 operating system services.  These extensions, in the form
  14. * of APIs (application programming interfaces) and KPIs (kernel
  15. * programming interfaces), enable application developers to create an
  16. * external security component, called an Installable Security Subsystem
  17. * (ISS) to provide the security features (access control, audit, etc.)
  18. * required by customers who need robust (C2 level) operating system
  19. * security, and standardized security administration interfaces for
  20. * applications.

  27. * Unpacking the security.bbs file
  28. * -------------------------------
  29. * If the security.bbs file is on drive d: as an example, and you wanted
  30. * to unpack the files to drive e: to prepare for the installation,
  31. * do the following:

  33. * 1.  From a command prompt run:
  34. *     unpack2  d:\security.bbs  e:  /c
  35. *
  36. * 2.  This will create a e:\secpack directory where the
  37. *     installation program can be started.
  38. *
  39. * Read the README.SEC in the secpack directory for complete installation
  40. * instructions.
