Description:
RxMem is a code database for Rexx and other programmers. Write or paste 'trusty' fragments of code into it and export them to your apps. One advantage over similar tools for code templates is that these contribute to the cluttering up of your screen. By contrast, RxMem is a popup utility that only appears when your mouse pointer is placed in a hot corner of the screen.

'RxMem 1.0 ' is shareware. You may copy and redistribute it free of charge as long as you do not sell the program or change any of the files included in the package. But if you are a registered user, you are expressly prohibited from making your password known to third parties. If you redistribute this program, you must include all 10 files named above. If you wish to include 'RxMem 1.0' on a shareware CD or floppy you are free to do so, provided you do not charge for the program itself. But, I'd appreciate notification by the distributors of such disks (see my Compuserve address given below).
NOTE: 'RxMem' was written using Rexxbase 2.06 and uses that dll to maintain its database files. Rexxbase is owned by American Coders, LTD., Post Office Box 97462, Raleigh, NC 27624, USA
Requirements:
ReXX must be installed on your machine (if you're using Warp, this is most probably already the case). I've only tested the programme with OS/2 Warp, so I don't know how it will perform with earlier versions of OS/2.
Installation:
Unzip the 10 RxMem files into a temporary directory (folder) of their own, if you're installing from the zipped package. You can also install from a disk containing the unzipped files (which must be placed in their own folder). In either case, run install.exe before working with the program. The installation program does not change your config.sys or ini files.
Licences:
A licence is valid for 1 computer only and subject to the distribution restrictions defined above.
Registration:
I'm asking for 10 US$ or 15 German marks if you decide to continue using 'GetIT 1.1' after a 21 day trial period. If you do not wish to use the program after this period, you must delete it from your hard disk. There are two ways of registering:
a) via compuserve. Go swreg (shareware registration) and type the registration id number: 10403
Then fill in the form. Registration is electronic only. I don't send floppies - only passwords. I check my E-mail on an almost daily basis, if I'm not away from home, so you can be confident of receiving your password speedily via E-mail.
b) by sending me a cheque. PLEASE make this out in German marks (DM), as I wish to avoid prohibitive conversion fees charged by the bank. The cost of registering by cheque is 15 marks per licence, as defined above. Don't forget to include your name and full address on a piece of paper, so I can send you your password by mail.
