This archive is a binary installation package for the Numerical Python
extension (aka NumPy), v20.3.
See the PKG-INFO and README.Numeric files for information about the
version of Numeric. For more detailed information about Numerical
Python, and the source distribution, please see the Numpy pages on
Sourceforge (http://sf.net/projects/numpy/).
The binary extension package was built from the NumPy source using the
DistUtils setup_all.py script included in the distribution, on the
OS/2+EMX port of Python 2.2. No changes to the distributed source have
been made. The main setup.py DistUtils script has been modified to
specify that the platform lacks support for inverse hyperbolic trig
functions (same settings used as for Win32).
You need the Python 2.2 port installed before you can install this
package - you should be able to get it where you obtained this
archive.
To install (assuming a working Python installation), change to the
directory containing the install script (install.cmd), and execute the
script.
Please let me know if you encounter any problems with the installation
package - bug reports about Numpy should go the bugs tracker at the
numpy project pages on Sourceforge.
This software is provided 'as-is', without any express or implied warranty.
In no event will the packager be held liable for any damages arising from
the use of the software.
