Available Cards List is a list of PC card script files. If a script file is
provided for the PC card, the title line in the script file is listed in the
list box.
Selected Cards List is a list of PC cards which are registered to the Auto
Configurator. Once the PC card data is registered to the Auto Configurator, a

ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 6. Changing the order of PC card data ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
When a PC card is inserted into the slot, the Auto Configurator checks if the
card inserted is registered to the "Selected Cards List". Since the "Selected
Cards List" is checked from the beginning, the order of the list is important.
If multiple configurations of a PC card are registered in the "Selected Cards
List", the first successful configuration is made for the card. To change the
order of the "Selected Cards List",
1. Click on the "Order..." button in the main panel.
2. Select the title of the PC card you want to change the order.
3. Move to desired position using the "Up" and "Down" button.
4. Click on the "OK" button.
5. Click on the "Save" button.

The following resources are defined for the PC card.
IRQ
I/O
Memory
DMA
(DMA is not supported by this version)
These resources are controlled by the Card Services. A client device driver or
an application program requests to the Card Services to use these resources
for the PC card. For example, the Auto Configurator requests the following
resources to use a Modem card as COM2.
IRQ 3
I/O 2F8H -- 2FFH
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 9. Script File ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The script file (for each PC card) describes how to identify the PC card, which
resources to be assigned to the PC card, and other information to
enable/disable the PC card. Usually, this file is prepared by the PC card
manufacturer. See "AUTODRV.DOC" for details of the script file. Using the Auto
Configurator Utility, you can edit the following items in the script file.
