  31.    There are many different views that one can have of OpenDoc.  It is not 
  32.    that every company who is working with OpenDoc has a different view, but 
  33.    rather that the developers and users see it differently. 
  34. <p>
  35.    From a user's view OpenDoc provides a new model for software 
  36.    interoperability that enables the creation of distributed, cross-platform 
  37.    component software.  OpenDoc architecture allows the different 
  38.    applications to work together seamlessly.  OpenDoc technology is designed 
  39.    to enable the creation of simple, single-function component applications 
  40.    that work the way people work.  Components can be "mixed and matched" to 
  41.    assemble custom made, integrated solutions.  OpenDoc has the ability to 
  42.    streamline and simplify the process of sharing information.  It allows 
  43.    users to work with and exchange compound documents, that integrate text, 
  44.    graphics, tables, video, sound, animation, and other data, easily and 
  45.    intuitively.
