  31.    The OpenDoc community consists of three major players: Apple, IBM and 
  32.    NOVELL. They are members of the Component Integration Laboratories, Inc. 
  33.    (CI Labs). CI Labs is a non-profit organization founded by those three 
  34.    companies.  CI Labs provides the technological specifications and 
  35.    foundation technology for developing and integrating component software 
  36.    through the OpenDoc component software architecture.  In addition, it 
  37.    provides services such as marketing, validation and training.  For a list 
  38.    of the CI Lab members and how to apply for a membership which is open to 
  39.    all IS providers and customers, refer to the World Wide Web page:

  42.    Apple, IBM and NOVELL are providing the following technology contributions 
  43.    to OpenDoc:

  45.    ░   Apple provides its experience with human interface and interactions, 
  46.        OSA (Open Scripting Architecture) and Bento, a document storage 
  47.        architecture. 
  48. <p>
  49.    ░   IBM contributes the System Object Model (SOM), OS/2 and AIX support to 
  50.        the OpenDoc architecture. 
  51. <p>
  52.    ░   NOVELL provides their experience in Microsoft's OLE interoperability 
  53.        and Windows support.
