  1. OOxBase - The Database For REXX
  2. V2.10 (Beta) OOxBase is a SOM-based
  3. Interface DLL that allows SOM
  4. enabled programs to access dBase III
  5. and IV files.  These programs can
  6. control files by reading, writing
  7. and updating data fields directly.
  8. OOxBase generates dBase field names
  9. and values that are available
  10. directly to a SOM program.  The
  11. program can change this data and
  12. update dBase files directly.  Also
  13. database file control information is
  14. available to the program.  This
  15. information includes such data as
  16. last date the database was updated,
  17. number of records on file, field
  18. names, etc.  OOxBase supports MDX,
  19. NDX and DBT files.
