  8. IPFC Preprocessor is a tool to expand the capabilities of the IPF Compiler.  It
  9. provides additional function for the IPF Compiler that are necessary for both
  10. single sourcing online documentation & hardcopy books (using BookMaster), and
  11. single sourcing of symbols for the developer and help panel writer.  IPFC
  12. Preprocessor allows you to define symbols, create conditionally compiled
  13. sections of documents, include C language symbols (using #define) in help
  14. panels, create simple text macros (tags), and resolves searches for imbedded
  15. files and bitmaps to other directories.
