  5. This file documents the latest updates to the CICS OS/2 system.
  6.  
  7. CICSENV.CMD
  8. ───────────
  9.  
  10.   Users Affected:  CICS OS/2 users upgrading to CSD 2 from a previous level.
  11.   ───────────────
  12.  
  13.   APAR PN48899 has changed the file CICSENV.CMD, which normally resides
  14.   in the UTIL subdirectory. The updated version of CICSENV has been placed
  15.   in the SAMPLES\CMD subdirectory. In order to incorporate the fix for
  16.   PN48899, please merge the changes in the new version with the copy in
  17.   the UTIL subdirectory. The changes can be identified by the string
  18.   "CSDUPDATE".

  21. CLIENTS

  24.   Users Affected:  CICS OS/2 Multi-user users who have distributed client
  25.   ───────────────  code to other workstations.
  26.  
  27.   Some components of the OS/2, DOS and Windows clients have been updated by
  28.   this CSD which must be copied to all applicable client workstations.
  29.   The affected programs can be identified by two means.
  30.  
  31.   1. CICSOS2.SVC in the CICS OS/2 high level directory lists the service level
  32.      of all components. The first column identifies the CSD number of each part.
  33.      (UN00000 is the base (G.A.) level)
  34.  
  35.   2. The timestamp of CICS OS/2 executables indicates the level:
  36.  
  37.             2:00 - Base (G.A.) level
  38.             2:01 - Service level (CSD) 1
  39.             2:02 - Service level (CSD) 2

  44.   A file detailing enhancements to CICS OS/2 by CSD 2 can be found in the
  45.   BOOKS subdirectory. It can be VIEWed as in the following example:
