I have ported the life 1.02 tar source I found from unix to OS/2 using
IBM's VisualAge C++ compiler. I have used the define OS2_PORT
to mark the changes & preserve the original logic. Some files have had to be
renamed. The home directory should be set by an environment variable - LIFEHOME.
The directory should contain the contents of the "lf" directory found
here. The file wildlife is the user customization file. I have been porting
a pitch (card game) I wrote some time ago. It seems to work but is very slow.
It is wildlife in the pitch directory.
I found 1 problem porting it - I couldn't use a constant starting with "a".
I haven't fixed this yet. The executable is wl.exe & must be placed in your
path.
