  1.         INSTALLATION OF THE DEMO

  4. The demo will be automatically installed as part of the normal
  5. installation of wild_life. 
  6.  
  7. Usage:

  10. Start wild_life and then load the file "life_demo" and execute the query
  11. > demo?
  12.

  18. A note on how to install the fonts:
  19. ===================================

  21. Normally, the fonts are found automatically and are part of the
  22. Wild_life release; nothing needs to be done.
  23.  
  24.   If you get a warning message telling you that the fonts were not
  25. found, you have to make sure that the fonts in the directory
  26. +SETUPDIR+/Demo/Fonts are actually accessible by your Xserver and are in
  27. the right format. To do this, copy this directory to a location
  28. /this/is/the/new/path/Fonts, which is accessible by your Xserver, and
  29. then issue the command 
  30.  
  31. xset +fp /this/is/the/new/path/Fonts
  32.  
  33. before invoking wild_life. When asked if the demo fonts should be used
  34. anyhow, answer 'yes'.
