  4. The NETBEUI environment space must fit within 64k.  This program will help you 
  5. maximize your usage of these 65535 bytes. 
  6.  
  7. Various settings located in the PROTOCOL.INI file affect how much memory the 
  8. NetBIOS allocates for the NETBEUI. Enter desired values in the Commands (NCBS), 
  9. Names, Packets, Selectors, Datagram Packets, and Loop Packets fields; then hit 
  10. calculate to determine if this configuration is possible. You will receive a 
  11. warning if the size exceeds 64k.

  13. This program is intended for use with the NETBEUI.OS2 driver included with the 
  14. Warp Server package, although it will work with drivers from Lan Server 4.0. 
  15. However, the overhead and size multipliers will be a close estimate when using 
  16. an older NETBEUI.OS2. It is recommended that you obtain the current 
  17. NETBEUI.OS2.

  19. Once a suitable configuration is obtained, remember to update your PROTOCOL.INI 
  20. file in the IBMLAN directory.
