  29. Installation
  30. ------------

  32. Interviews for OS/2 is distributed in ZIP format.
  33.  
  34. 1. copy ovres.dll to a directory on your libpath.
  35.  
  36. 2. unzip ivos2.zip
  37.  
  38. 3. Modify IV\MAKEFILE.INC to suit your environment. Specifically you need to
  39. setup the following:

  42. 3.1 - INSTALL_LIB_PATH - This specifies location of InterViews libraries to
  43. Turbo linker. You can give it a full path name if required. The default is
  44. \IV\INSTALLED directory on current drive
  45.  
  46.  
  47. 3.2 CCDRIVE - The drive where your Borland compiler is installed. Defaults to H:
  48.  
  49.  
  50. 3.3 CCDIR - The directory name of Borland compiler. Defaults to BCOS2
  51.  
  52.  
  53. 4. From iv directory, enter MAKE -f MAKEFILE.BCC
  54.  
  55. 5. For debugging, add -DDEBUG=1 to above make command line
  56.  
  57. 6. Add the variable IV_HOME to your environment. This should point to
  58. iv directory on the drive you installed interviews.
  59.

  62. SET IV_HOME=C:\IV
  63.

  65. Terminating Sample Application
  66. ------------------------------

  68. Sample programs can be terminated from task manager menu.
